Reward and Recognition
Our Nettie awards recognise and reward team members who demonstrate our values of being respectful, supportive, dedicated, approachable and working collaboratively, which are the foundation for the way we do things at VetPartners.
Wellbeing within our teams is important to us at VetPartners. We established our Wellbeing Group in 2017 to support colleagues and promote wellbeing throughout the organisation. The Wellbeing Group ensures excellent training resources are available for all, awareness of the importance of all aspects of wellbeing and that support is available (anonymously if necessary) to promote general wellbeing, as well as help those at the point of crisis.

Helping Each Other
We are aware of several practices who are struggling to maintain a service to our small animal and equine patients, as well as farmers and their livestock, due to a number of reasons from team members having to self-isolate, to vacancies in practices.
We are also aware that some of our team members have volunteered to help plug holes and gain experience by working at an alternate site a day or 2 a month. Several have already done so – THANK YOU.
We are nervous about encouraging this, as we want to ensure we look after your wellbeing and we know how much pressure you are all already under.
However, we have had feedback that this is something we should offer and some team members would be keen to do, so if you would like the chance to experience a different practice, earn some extra funds, and feel you have capacity to help out, please email email@example.com and they can let you know what opportunities would be available.
This can be as little or as much as you feel able to. We will be ensuring your line manager keeps an eye out for you doing too much, and that you are getting the necessary breaks.
